Matthew 28:19-20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to keep all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (NASB)
These are Christ's final words to His followers before His ascension… what we call the Great Commission. Notice this: Jesus didn't say "make Christians"; He said "make DISCIPLES." There's a BIG difference.
A “Christian” says yes to Jesus. A disciple LEARNS to follow Him daily. Conversion is an EVENT. Discipleship is a PROCESS… a lifelong journey of learning to KEEP "all that I commanded you."
The scope is GLOBAL: "all the nations," not just your neighborhood. God's heart beats for the WORLD.
Now, let's be honest. Most Christians are uncomfortable with evangelism (and yes, pastors too!). We worry about offending people. We think, "I'll just live a good life and let my actions speak." But eventually, WORDS are needed. As Paul wrote: "How are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?"
But here's the ENCOURAGING part. Jesus wraps this commission in a PROMISE: "I am with you ALWAYS, even to the end of the age." The authority belongs to Him. The power comes from Him. And His PRESENCE accompanies us at every step.
In our church, we support ministries that help the hungry and the homeless. We also equip people to share their faith PERSONALLY. Because BOTH matter.
Question: When did you last tell someone about Jesus? Face-to-face? It can be as simple as saying, "God really helped me through a tough time, and He can help you too."

Prayer: Lord Jesus, fill me with boldness to share the Gospel and with patience to teach others, as You lead. Remind me that You are with me at EVERY step. Amen.
