Day 40 | GOD’S AMAZING LOVE FOR YOU

GOD’S AMAZING LOVE FOR YOU
John 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
Two favorite verses that we’ve all heard countless times.
“The world” reminds me that God’s love isn’t limited to a select few; it stretches across every corner of our broken world. It’s a love that reaches the noisy streets, the quiet suburbs, the bustling cafés where strangers sip coffee, and the lonely rooms where prayers are whispered in the dark. That same love chose to become flesh, to walk among us, to feel hunger, fatigue, brokenness and ultimately to experience death on a cross, for us all.
The promise that God offers is astonishing: "everlasting life." Not just a distant, after‑life reward, but a life that begins now, overflowing with purpose, hope, and peace. It’s a life that refuses to be defined by failures because of the grace of God.
Then we read: “God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
The world’s narrative often tells us we’re under judgment, that we’re constantly being measured against impossible standards. Yet the Gospel flips that script. Jesus came not as a judge shouting verdicts, but as a Savior offering His hand. He invites us to step out of guilt and into gratitude, to let the weight of condemnation melt away and be replaced by the forgiveness that He paid for on the cross. Let that truth settle in your heart and mind too.
Prayer: LORD, I could never thank You enough for ALL You offer me. Thank You for everlasting life in Your Son Jesus. Amen.
